Problem:

Clutch pedal, not operated hydraulically, fails to come back up to its normal position after pressing on it earlier.

Solution:

If you find that the clutch pedal, which is not operated hydraulically, fails to come back up to its normal position after pressing on it earlier, the following may be probable causes of this vehicle problem that you should consider checking:

  • The clutch fork may damaged or otherwise worn out;

  • The clutch pressure plate may be malfunctioning; or

  • The clutch throwout bearing may be worn out.

Any one of the above can be the cause of your vehicle's problem, so it would be best to pay attention to the above probable causes when attempting to diagnose and fix the problem.
