Problem:

Door hinges are stuck to the notched frames / mortises and consequently too hard to remove.

Tools / Materials (See Below for Applicability):

  • Hammer

Solution:

It is not uncommon to find that door hinges stuck to their respective mortises/notched-recessed frames of the door frame after removing the screws that secure such hinges.  Instead of forcefully prying them off, in an effort to prevent inadvertent damage, you should be able to remove these stubborn hinges (already unscrewed) by gently tapping their exposed sides with a hammer.
