Problem:

The temperature of the water running in the washer is not correct.

Solution:

If you find that, after setting your washer to operate, the water that is released as part of the washing operation cycle is not of the temperature that it should be,  the washer or its accessories may not be functioning correctly, and the following may be probable causes of such a washer malfunction that you should consider checking:

  • The faucets from which water is drawn to the washer may not be completely opened, requiring you to turn the faucet handles completely counterclockwise all the way; or

  • The inlet hoses or valve screens are suffering from blockages, requiring you to take action to unblock such blockages.

Any one of the above can be the cause of your washer's incorrect water temperature, so it would be best to pay attention to the above probable causes when attempting to diagnose and fix the problem.
